7. AI Processing Transparency

When you request AI-generated interview prep, the information you provide (including resume content and job details) is transmitted to our third-party AI provider, OpenAI, for processing. OpenAI processes this data solely to generate the requested output on our behalf and does not use your inputs to train its models under our API agreement.

Our relationship with OpenAI is governed by a Data Processing Agreement. You can review OpenAI's privacy and data handling practices at their website.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information unless it is necessary for your intended use. AI outputs can contain errors. You are solely responsible for reviewing and validating all generated content before relying on it.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes in this policy, including account management, service delivery, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and security.

When you request account deletion, we will delete your account data, generated content, and associated records within 45 days. Certain information may be retained beyond this period only where required by law, necessary for fraud prevention, or present in routine system backups that are overwritten in the normal course of operations.

• Account and generated-history records are retained while your account remains active, unless deleted earlier.
• You can delete specific saved prep items from your history through available product controls.
• Browser local storage remains on your device until you delete it or clear browser data.
